to sponsor me for the British Heart Foundation’s Pier to Pier Swim!
I have set myself the challenge of a 1.4 mile open water swim to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. It’s the first time I have ever done anything like this and I am feeling a little nervous, but very excited! Starting my training today with a 1000m endurance swim, just to get back into the rhythm; Pilates, cycling and interval training all to come this week too! 9 weeks to go! Would love this to go viral!
Any training tips would be much appreciated!
I actually got into medical school! March was a ridiculous month for me! On the 12th I got an offer for Queen Mary and St Barts Medical School on the GEP course, the 13th was my birthday, and then I went to Bahrain for a holiday on the 14th. What a week!
So now I’m on the hoarding money stage of preparing for med school. Going alright I guess, I forget how expensive uni can be though especially in London, and they suggest that you don’t get a job in first year because of the ridiculous work load…. Hmm we’ll see!
I also started my vaccinations. Luckily I hadn’t had my second MMR (apparently) and got bumped up the vaccine waiting list due to the measles outbreak, so huzzah for that too!
Just need to decide what to take with me and what to get for the course? Any ideas?
FYI that’s a question. It would seem my punctuation has mysteriously disappeared.
EDIT: although the question marks have returned
